This casual position involves advocating for Indigenous students by providing essential cultural, language, and social-emotional assistance. You’ll collaborate with educators to foster a supportive academic environment. Engaging with families is a key component to ensure the success of these students, alongside participating in school teams and administrative reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver cultural and emotional support to students

• Promote Indigenous pride and role modeling

• Work alongside teachers to address student needs

• Maintain communication with families and guardians

• Participate in school teams and submit reports

Requirements:

• Grade 12 completion (Dogwood Certificate)

• Two years of Indigenous studies related education

• Minimum of 6 months working with Indigenous students

• Familiarity with local Indigenous communities

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License with clean record
