Faculty Development Educational Developer

Join Yorkville University and Toronto Film School as an Educational Developer focused on faculty growth and innovative teaching strategies. This remote role offers the chance to enhance faculty development across Canada.

In this role, part of the Centre for Teaching Excellence and Innovation, you'll lead the development of programming tailored to meet the diverse needs of faculty, particularly in Nursing and Health Sciences. You'll connect with faculty to identify needs, improving their teaching practices through targeted resources and collaborative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement workshops and resources for faculty improvement

• Collaborate with faculty to identify needs in teaching and learning

• Support onboarding processes for new faculty members

• Foster connections among educational teams across campus locations

• Integrate new research into existing faculty programs

Requirements:

• Completed Master’s degree in a related field

• Previous experience in faculty development and instructional support

• Knowledge of current trends in higher education pedagogy

• Proficiency in educational technology and digital tools

• Dedication to promoting equity and diversity in education
