On Call Early Childhood Educator Mackenzie

Become an integral part of early childhood education as an On Call Early Childhood Educator in Mackenzie. Support child development initiatives in a play-based environment while fostering family involvement.

This role reports to the School Principal and Early Learning Coordinator. You will develop and facilitate programs that align with the B.C. Early Learning Framework and the Strong Start B.C. Operation Guide. Collaborate with teachers and school staff to enhance early learning initiatives, ensuring children receive the best start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain early learning programs per the Early Learning Framework

• Maintain daily program records using designated software

• Produce required reports and work plans with the District

• Foster family engagement and manage community service referrals

• Collaborate for smooth transitions into kindergarten

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education is necessary

• Current BC Early Childhood Education certification required

• Minimum of 1 year working with children aged 0-5

• Foodsafe certification is essential

• Class 5 driver's license is a must
