Support students as a Casual Learning Support Worker with School District No. 91 in Fraser Lake. This role focuses on advocating for students and assisting in educational program delivery.
School District No. 91 is hiring Casual Learning Support Workers to cater to the unique needs of students in Fraser Lake. You'll collaborate with school staff, delivering tailored education programs for individuals or groups. Strong advocacy and teamwork skills are essential, as you will support students with intellectual, behavioral, or multiple disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with school staff for student support
• Assist in delivering tailored education programs
• Advocate for students in school-based teams
Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion (Dogwood Certificate)
• Education Assistant Certificate program
• Minimum six months working with children/youth
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and WorkSafeBC knowledge
