Position: Resource Teacher for Special Education Support

Join Correlieu Secondary School as a Resource Teacher starting September 1, 2026. This role supports students in Grades 10-12, focusing on inclusion and individualized education.
As a Resource Teacher, you will develop and implement strategies to ensure that all students have access to learning. Your experience in secondary special education will enable you to effectively collaborate with teaching staff and maintain essential documentation. A proven ability to address diverse needs through innovative methods is vital to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support curriculum engagement for all students

• Develop IEPs and track student progress

• Work alongside teachers to enhance instructional strategies

• Maintain thorough records of educational services provided

• Communicate effectively with staff and external resources
Requirements:

• Must have a valid BC Teaching Certificate

• Special Education major is necessary

• Recent secondary education experience required

• Commitment to a collaborative, supportive environment

• Understanding of inclusive education policies
