Support student learning as a Casual Learning Support Worker in the Burns Lake area with School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes). Engage with students individually or in groups, enhancing their educational experience in a casual role.

School District No. 91 is looking for Casual Learning Support Workers to assist with the diverse needs of students in Burns Lake, including Decker Lake and Granisle. This position involves collaboration with school staff to deliver tailored educational programs and advocate for students. Flexibility is key, as this is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individual student needs with educational staff

• Assist in delivering educational programs for groups

• Advocate for students in school-based teams

Requirements:

• Grade 12 completion (Dogwood Certificate)

• Education Assistant Certificate program completed

• Minimum 6 months’ experience with children/youth with disabilities

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean record

• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and safety procedure familiarity
