Support elementary English language learners at Buckhorn Elementary in Prince George through inclusive teaching and social emotional learning.
School District No. 57 requires a Grade K-7 ELL teacher for a 0.2 FTE limited duration contract. Candidates should demonstrate appropriate teaching qualifications, experience, and classroom organization. The district values curriculum technology, collaboration, and positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community.
Key Responsibilities:- Accommodate diverse learning needs inclusively
- Integrate experiential and inquiry learning opportunities
- Use technology within the curriculum
- Collaborate with school and district teams
- Maintain relationships with families and community
- BC Teaching Certificate or proof of application
- Evidence of appropriate teaching qualifications and experience
- Experience supporting social and emotional learning
- Strong organization and classroom management abilities
- Ability to integrate Indigenous perspectives into curriculum
