Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Administrator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HSE Administrator to join our team. This full-time position is based at our Strathnaver location, located 75 km south of Prince George and 40 km north of Quesnel, BC. Working with all departments and employees, the HSE Administrator will play an important role in promoting a safe and healthy work environment at our operation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the management and communication of HSE policies and programs
  • Supporting training and education for employees and contractors
  • Monitoring to ensure compliance with regulations and procedures
  • Participating in near miss and incident investigations and risk assessments
  • Liaising with regulatory agencies and industry counterparts
  • Helping to enhance a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Formal training and/or experience in the fields of health and safety and environmental management
  • Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity and understanding of HSE regulations, standards and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, professional and positive
  • Strong project management, planning, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, business needs and regulatory requirements

This position offers a highly competitive salary starting in the $80,000 – $110,000 range, based on experience and qualifications. It also includes a comprehensive benefits and pension package and rewarding opportunities to grow within an industry-leading company.
