Position: Canfor Industrial Energy Manager Role
Canfor seeks a proactive Industrial Energy Manager to spearhead Strategic Energy Management for its Canadian Solid Wood Operations. This position is pivotal in enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

As an established role within Canfor, the Industrial Energy Manager will implement the Strategic Energy Management Plan alongside BC Hydro. This position not only offers growth opportunities within the company but also significant interaction with various business areas, ensuring a comprehensive approach to energy management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate energy audits and benchmarking across facilities

• Scope and track CAPEX projects for energy initiatives

• Monitor energy usage for monthly KPI reporting

• Identify and evaluate energy conservation programs

• Collaborate with industry groups and BC Hydro representatives

Requirements:

• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or Certified Energy Manager

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in energy management

• Strong Microsoft Office and Power BI skills

• Excellent communication and project management abilities

• Experience in energy efficiency programs preferred
