Nechako Lumber, a member of Sinclar Group Forest Products Ltd., is seeking an Energy System Operator to oversee plant operations.

Your role will include managing the thermal oil furnace and ORC turbine generator, ensuring top operational standards. Regular inspections and maintenance are key components of this position, geared towards optimizing our energy production and sustainability efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage operations of the Thermal Oil and ORC Plant

• Conduct detailed walk-through inspections daily

• Carry out regular system maintenance and logging

• Report issues directly to the Chief Engineer

• Engage in safety meetings as pertinent

Requirements:

• 4th class steam ticket is a must

• Previous experience preferred

• Demonstrated safety and leadership skills

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

• Proficiency in maintenance management systems
