As a Planning Forester, you will engage in forest development planning, oversee field operations, and ensure regulatory compliance. Framework your work through collaboration with project teams, driving the successful execution of timber activities and permitting processes. Your expertise will support the delivery of safe and efficient forestry solutions across various client profiles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate forest development project planning

• Prepare technical documents and permit applications

• Conduct supervisory fieldwork including ecosystem assessments

• Ensure compliance with forestry legislation and standards

• Provide mentorship and quality assurance to junior staff members

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Forestry or Natural Resource Management

• 3-5 years relevant experience in BC forestry

• Eligible for RPF or RFT registration

• Skilled in GIS-based tools and forestry software

• Valid Class 5 driver's license
