Geotechnical Engineer

Position: Geotechnical Engineer Role
Join WSP as an intermediate geotechnical engineer and enhance your skills in both fieldwork and analysis in Prince George, BC. The role includes evaluating geotechnical data and managing diverse projects across British Columbia and the Yukon.

This intermediate position offers a blend of hands-on field programs and office analysis. You will lead and participate in borehole drilling, instrumentation installation, and more, while mentoring junior staff in critical field methods. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and building client relationships will be key components of your work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead field programs including drilling and construction monitoring

• Analyze geological data for foundation recommendations

• Prepare technical reports and documentation

• Mentor junior engineers in safety and analysis practices

• Support innovative solutions and quality assurance processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering

• Minimum of five years relevant experience

• Registered or eligible for registration as P.Eng.

• Familiarity with geotechnical software tools

• Valid Canadian driver's license
