Position: Manager, Bridges and Structures at CN
Lead bridge and structure management for BC with CN, ensuring safe rail operations and impactful maintenance initiatives. This role focuses on overseeing capital programming while fostering a safety-first culture.
As the Manager of Bridges and Structures for BC, you will develop and maintain capital and operating maintenance programs for railways. You will prioritize repairs and collaboratively work with design and assessment teams to enhance bridge reliability. This position demands rigorous oversight of inspection reports and field audits to ensure compliance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop dynamic capital and operating maintenance programs

• Prioritize bridge repairs and retrofits

• Approve inspection reports and ratings

• Conduct field audits for compliance and accuracy

• Inspect bridges for planning and implementation
Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in bridge design or inspection

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Professional Engineer Certification (P.Eng)

• Fall Protection Certification

• Knowledge of railroad structures is a plus
Elevate infrastructure safety and performance in railroad operations as a key member of CN in BC.
