Position: Seasonal Field Technician Needed
Thurber Engineering welcomes applications for a Seasonal Field Technician in Prince George, British Columbia. This role requires hands-on inspections and testing in construction projects.
As a Seasonal Field Technician, you will focus on quality control for various infrastructure projects through field and laboratory testing. The position encompasses tasks such as moisture and compaction testing of soils and concrete while complying with standards like CCIL and ASTM. Good communication skills are crucial for effective interaction with project engineers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field testing of concrete and soil quality

• Carry out inspections on construction sites

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

• Deliver clear findings verbally and in writing

• Travel to diverse construction sites as needed
Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• Class 5 driver's license needed

• Previous experience in concrete testing preferred

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
