Become an Environmental Field Technician with WSP and manage remediation projects across British Columbia. Help ensure environmental safety through fieldwork including groundwater sampling and hazard reporting.
This role in the Remediation Program Management team involves supporting diverse environmental projects. Collaborate with a team of engineers and scientists, adhere to health and safety standards, and engage in field tasks to protect community environments. Your work will impact contamination management and site safety profoundly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct groundwater and soil sampling in field settings
• Prepare site-specific health and safety plans
• Document fieldwork and assist in report generation
• Identify and communicate site hazards effectively
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors in site activities
Requirements:
• Diploma in environmental or geological technology
• Proven experience in soil and groundwater field sampling
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication abilities in English
• Valid driver's license required
