Enhance your career as an Operator for Waste and Potable Water with BW Gold at the Blackwater Mine. This role emphasizes safety and effectiveness in water system operations on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off schedule.
At BW Gold, you will report to the Supervisor - Infrastructure, focusing on both wastewater and potable water systems. Your responsibilities will include overseeing treatment stages for wastewater, managing water quality, and adjusting chemical dosing for safe drinking water. This permanent position offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact on environmental safety and water quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate treatment systems for safe drinking water
• Monitor and adjust water quality parameters
• Inspect and maintain pumps and filters
• Operate sewage and wastewater treatment systems
• Test wastewater quality and meet discharge standards
Requirements:
• Experience in water and wastewater treatment required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in remote camp settings
• Teamwork and independent work capabilities
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
