Position: WSP Junior Materials Technician Role
Join WSP as a Junior Materials Technician in Prince George, BC, where you will engage in both fieldwork and laboratory testing. Collaborate with experts on varied infrastructure initiatives, contributing to essential regional projects.

As a Junior Materials Technician, you'll be an integral part of WSP’s Ground Engineering and Materials Team. This position involves executing field assignments, conducting material tests, and promoting a robust health and safety culture. With hands-on experience in testing soil and concrete, you'll refine your technical skills while supporting multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field assignments for soil and concrete testing

• Carry out laboratory tests per applicable standards

• Collaborate with engineers for geotechnical services

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols on site

• Assist in planning and executing programs in remote areas

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in Civil Engineering Technology

• Experience as a materials technician or intern

• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools

• Excellent English writing and speaking skills

• Ability to work in adverse weather
