Position: Refinery Process Safety Engineer Role
Drive safety measures at Tidewater Midstream in Prince George, BC as a Process Safety Engineer, ensuring optimal safety standards within the refinery. Focus on compliance and manage vital PSM systems.

In this role, you will be charged with integrating safety management systems within the refinery’s operations. You will oversee compliance, conduct essential risk analyses, and collaborate with various teams to bolster safety performance. Your expertise will contribute to loss prevention and safety education among staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the refinery PSM system

• Manage safety standards and procedures effectively

• Arrange process hazards and risk analyses

• Support audits and inspections by regulators

• Educate staff on process safety industry standards

Requirements:

• Degree in an industrial engineering discipline

• At least 5 years of process safety experience

• Experience with process hazard analysis methods

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Knowledge of refining operations preferred
