Position: Product Support Mechanical Design Technician Role
Join Timken's engineering team as a Product Support Mechanical Design Technician in Prince George, British Columbia. Contribute to innovative bearing designs and support critical technical functions.

This full-time role features a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday and offers a competitive salary between $60,000 and $63,000 USD (or $86,000 to $89,000 CAD). Successful applicants will possess an AA in Mechanical Design and ideally have experience with 3D CAD tools like AutoCAD. You'll focus on drafting, technical support, and close collaboration with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support design and technical validations for Mounted Bearings

• Develop new application designs based on engineering principles

• Produce documentation including drawings and databases

• Help manufacturing with necessary production prints

• Assist Quality Control and incoming inspection processes

Requirements:

• AA in Mechanical Design or equivalent

• 1-3 years of experience with CAD (AutoCAD/NX)

• Skills in product design and project management

• Familiarity with quality control systems

• Capability to assist in damage analysis and response
