Position: Operator for Waste & Water Treatment

Become an Operator for Waste and Potable Water at the Blackwater Mine site with BW Gold. This permanent role operates essential treatment systems ensuring safe drinking water and wastewater management.

As part of Artemis Gold, this position involves overseeing water treatment processes and maintaining system equipment. You'll need to monitor water quality, manage chemical dosing, and maintain compliance with environmental standards. A 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation allows for a balance of work and personal time in a remote location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate systems producing safe drinking water

• Monitor pH, chlorine, and turbidity of water

• Adjust chemical dosing and treatment processes

• Maintain pumps, filters, and operational equipment

• Collect water samples and keep records for regulation

Requirements:

• Experience in water and wastewater treatment

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to interpret technical documents and schematics

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Capable of lifting 50lbs and working in remote locations
