This role is crucial to promoting environmental stewardship under the supervision of the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager. The Environmental Coordinator will support various programs, assist in compliance monitoring, and restore environmental integrity across site activities. Your proactive approach is key in fostering awareness and implementing effective procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior Environmental Coordinator in program management

• Conduct inspections of hazardous materials storage

• Facilitate environmental awareness and training sessions

• Assist in the collection and reporting of field data

• Advise management on environmental issues

Requirements:

• 1-3 years in an environmental role, preferably in mining

• Degree in environmental sciences preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to work independently under pressure

• Clean driver's abstract and valid license
