We seek an experienced Geotechnical Engineer dedicated to supporting an underground gold mining operation. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, developing ground support designs, and providing geotechnical input into planning and operations. Collaborating with diverse teams, you'll engage in ground control, mine rehabilitation, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct underground inspections and geotechnical assessments

• Develop designs for ground support and cable bolts

• Provide input for mine planning and rehabilitation efforts

• Review excavation layouts and engineering designs

• Support implementation of ground control plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Mining Engineering

• Direct experience with underground block cave mining

• Knowledge of geotechnical assessments and ground support

• Strong communication skills for team collaboration

• P.Eng. designation preferred
