Description

Integris, a Division of Coastal Community Credit Union is currently searching for an individual to fill the role for a part-time, Monday to Thursday, temporary one-year term,
Financial Services Support 1 (FSS1) in the Integris corporate office in Prince George. For this position, we are looking for someone that has strong knowledge in Integris products and services, and a demonstrated proficiency in applicable software (T24 or subsidiary equivalent).

More than just administration, this role includes an ongoing commitment to developing relationships with internal members (FSO/FSR etc) to help them support our external members. This support occurs through processing loan files, performing searches, answering phone inquiries plus a variety of other administrative duties.

Salary Range: $20.17 to $23.66 per hour

  • The Ideal candidate will have:

    Loan & Mortgage Administration:

  • Completes personal loan administration in the following areas:
    Filing. Loan payoff completion. Various computer searches and registration. Loan and LOC mastering and disbursement under guidance. PPSA Register. Mortgage P/O requests including penalty calculation under guidance. Understands when to place follow up tasks for compliance. Mortgage Mastering and Disbursement with guidance. Completes Mortgage Renewals with guidance.
  • Responsible for the ongoing administration of loan files Checks to see if file documentation and security is compliant with I & L policy and in-branch lending policies.
  • Member Servicing:

  • Responds to telephone inquiries or external requests (notaries, lawyers, realtors) regarding outstanding loan balances, bank confirmations, etc. Either provides information requested or refers to appropriate person for more detailed information.
  • Complete basic member and account maintenance (i.e., address changes, name changes, documents sign-offs).

    Note:

    includes Banking System updates.
  • Products & Services:

  • Basic knowledge of all insurance products
  • Knowledge & Application:

  • Develops basic, general knowledge of CU retail lending products & services.
  • Develops familiarity of basic CU products & services.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

  • Can review the I&L policy in the completion of duties.
  • Utilizes Lending Procedure Manual to ensure adherence.
  • Utilizes step-by-step to perform tasks to ensure items are processed correctly.
  • Utilizes FSS Procedure Manual to understand risk.
  • Support & Back-Up:

  • Pre-authorized transfers – either provides technical assistance & direction to MSRs and/or
    completes, processes & files

    Note:

    May be centralized.
  • On a centralized basis, posts collection items for all business units

    Note:

    Not required by all FSS
    positions.
  • Provides FSO basic support e.g. insurance refunds, searches, set up of tax payments.
  • May provide collections officer support such as:
    Posting collections, write-offs, bill payments, regular payments, and lawyer fees.
  • Assist in the maintenance and appearance of the branch and branch surroundings.

    • Completes Deemed rate sheets with support and guidance
  • Leadership & Teamwork:

  • Contributes as a member of the FSS team.
