Crisis Response Advisor for FNHA

Support First Nations communities as a Crisis and Emergency Response Advisor d culturally grounded emergency management efforts to enhance resilience in challenging situations.

This permanent position within FNHA offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in crisis management. You will develop and implement crisis plans, leveraging both traditional and Western methods to strengthen emergency response capabilities. Ideal candidates will excel in health emergency management and have experience in First Nations contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice on crisis management to communities

• Develop and implement crisis action plans effectively

• Coordinate emergency management efforts across regions

• Strengthen community response capacity through engagement

• Inform prevention strategies for long-term resilience

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in related fields

• 2-5 years of relevant emergency management experience

• Knowledge of holistic health and social determinants

• Familiarity with First Nations community engagement

• Ethical understanding of mental wellness documentation
