B.C, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position provides evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders to adult acute care inpatient/outpatient patients. The Speech-Language Pathologist may work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with them for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication/swallowing. The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, and education.
