Part-Time Equipment Repair Technician

Stenberg College is searching for an On-Call Medical Equipment Repair Technician in Prince George, BC. This part-time role delivers critical maintenance for healthcare training simulation devices.

In this contract role, you will be central to providing necessary repair services for equipment utilized in healthcare education. Your expertise will support clinical simulations, ensuring students have accurate, hands-on experiences. This is an on-call position with variable hours and competitive pay based on the services rendered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose issues with clinical simulation equipment effectively

• Execute regular maintenance and equipment checks as needed

• Provide cost estimates and timelines prior to repairs

• Identify and recommend replacement parts for equipment

• Ensure updates are communicated during repairs

Requirements:

• Relevant experience with medical or clinical equipment repairs

• Independent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Comfort with remote diagnostics when appropriate

• Must be located in or near Prince George
