Position: Casual Health Care Aide Role
Support the daily activities of residents as a Casual Health Care Aide with Connective in Prince George, BC. Engage in meaningful care that respects each individual's dignity.

Connective is hiring a Health Care Aide to provide essential support to residents in daily living activities while ensuring a welcoming environment. This role involves assisting with hygiene, meal service, and providing companionship to individuals in your care. You will actively contribute to maintaining their quality of life within a nonprofit organization recognized for its commitment to inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with personal care and housekeeping

• Follow service plans to ensure individual preferences are met

• Provide companionship and promote resident activities

• Help residents with meal access and dining support

• Document changes and communicate with the care team

Requirements:

• Care Aide/Community Health Worker certification

• Active registration with the associated BC Health Registry

• At least one year of relevant experience preferred

• Strong English communication skills, verbal and written

• Capacity to manage confidential information discreetly
