Position Summary

In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of Northern Health the Solutions Architect provides for the strategy, design and architecture of high quality and highly available clinical and business-oriented technologies. The Solutions Architect regularly works with Northern Health Leadership, Corporate and Clinical Services, and cross functional operational teams to inform and develop solutions supporting organizational strategic plans and goals.
Starting salary will be approximately from $88,990 to $111,237 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computing Science, Information Management or a related discipline plus at least five (5) years' experience working within or supporting a health care environment is preferred, including several years in a senior technology oversight or architecture role;
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) training and experience required.
- Demonstrated success as a senior technical systems administrator or architect, as well as the successful completion of large information technology acquisition or design and build projects within the last three years.
- Demonstrated ability to write technical standards documents.
- Intermediate to expert-level system implementation, Privacy and Security standards and best practices skills. Proven ability to track, coordinate and integrate external issues as they affect Northern Health's Strategic plans. Demonstrated ability to evaluate contract documents such as RFP's, RFI's, RFQ's, SOW's, etc.
- Proven ability to write, analyze and edit project plans, proposals, Service Level Agreements, MOU's for accuracy and consistency.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve with an overall Northern Health perspective in alignment with key strategic priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and manage relationships with internal and external strategic partners and solution providers.
- Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.
