Solutions Architect

Insight Global is seeking a  hands‑on Senior Solution Architect  to support  enterprise GPU and HPC deployments  for a large technology client. This is a  delivery‑focused role , not a theoretical or design‑only architecture position.
The architect will be onsite working directly with customers to  deploy, configure, test, benchmark, and validate GPU clusters  in Linux‑based high‑performance environments. The ideal candidate enjoys being deeply technical, customer‑facing, and accountable for end‑to‑end delivery.

Key Responsibilities   Deploy, configure, and validate  GPU and HPC clusters  in customer environments
Perform  multi‑node testing, benchmarking, and performance validation
Support  firmware lifecycle management  (BIOS, NICs, storage, post‑update validation)
Configure and manage  NVIDIA Base Command Manager
Work hands‑on with  enterprise rack and tower servers
Support  Infini Band and/or RoCE networking  for HPC / GenAI workloads
Conduct cluster health checks, upgrades, and version alignment
Act as a  customer‑facing technical resource onsite , providing guidance and delivery support

Required Qualifications   Hands‑on experience with  enterprise rack and tower servers
NVIDIA certification
Proven experience with  GPU deployment, configuration, and multi‑node testing
Experience using  NVIDIA Base Command Manager
Strong  Linux expertise  (RHCSA / RHCE or 7+ years with Red Hat–based distributions)
Experience working in  Linux‑based parallel computing environments at scale
HPC or GenAI networking experience  (Infini Band and/or RoCE)
Ability to commit to  onsite work 5 days per week in Northern BC
Compensation:
$55/hr to $70/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short‑term and long‑term disability, life insurance and AD&D. Employees will also have access to a registered retirement savings account with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
