Position: Service Desk Analyst I
Join the College of New Caledonia as a full-time Service Desk Analyst I in Prince George, BC, focusing on IT support and troubleshooting user issues. This fixed-term position enhances your technical expertise and service skills.

In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for IT services, addressing user issues and managing support tickets efficiently. Your responsibilities include asset validation, troubleshooting, and generating documentation. Collaborating with the Community Campus Manager, your contribution will be vital in maintaining a positive user experience at the College.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve and escalate user support tickets efficiently

• Maintain software licensing and system documentation

• Assist in the setup of audio/visual equipment

• Validate asset ownership during user interactions

• Perform inventory verification activities periodically

Requirements:

• Two-year diploma in IT or related field

• At least six months experience in IT support

• Experience with ITIL framework preferred

• Basic skills in troubleshooting networks

• Strong communication skills with users and staff
