Parts Management Coordinator
is to accurately requisition, purchase, logistically coordinate, expedite and receive materials required for projects and work orders working closely with Dispatch and Operations. This Parts Management Coordinator needs to provide exceptional customer service to our walk‑in and call in orders.

What you will be doing?
  • Responsible for requisition / reservation material purchases and inventory management. Work closely with Dispatch to ensure material accuracy and delivery. Optimize the material component of a job via working closely with project and service teams.
  • Negotiate when required with vendors on price, quality and delivery of materials to meet installation/service schedule to maximize margin. Initiate material claims with vendors. Optimally manage materials and logistics costs in support of operations.
  • Provide logistical coordination support with Dispatch. Technically receive materials ure materials are technically acceptable for installation in relation to quality. Ensure materials are procured and delivered within budget.
  • Ensure data entry is accurate; responsible for maintaining detailed incoming and outgoing freight log.
  • Be prime contact for clients requesting parts via telephone. Assist in warranty claims on materials to vendors. Process client and technician phone and walk‑in requests for parts.
  • Responsible to read, understand and comply with UFA/BarW and client's Health, Safety and Environment Policies and Safe Work Practices and/or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
  • High school diploma, 5+ years’ experience as a buyer/logistical materials management.
  • Parts Management Education experience as a buyer/logistical materials management is considered an asset.
  • Must have experience working directly with vendors negotiating price, quality and delivery.
  • Obtain more than 2 years of experience on estimating materials is an asset.
  • Forklift experience is an asset.

This is a safety sensitive position. The successful applicant will be required to pass (negative result) a drug and alcohol screening test (includes cannabis) and criminal background check (if applicable) as a condition of employment.
