Part-Time Custodian Evening Shifts

Join our team as a Part-Time Casual Custodian with evening and weekend shifts available. Help maintain cleanliness and security in Schools while working within collaborative environments.

Your role involves reporting to the School Principal or Department Head, tackling various duties including cleaning classrooms, securing buildings, and managing waste. Candidates should possess the physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and familiarity with custodial practices and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vacuum, mop, and maintain clean classroom environments

• Lock windows and doors at the end of shifts

• Clean and sanitize washrooms and kitchen areas

• Test fire alarms and respond to emergencies

• Assist other custodians and support major cleaning efforts

Requirements:

• Building Maintenance Certificate or six months of related experience

• Comfortable with physical labor and cleaning equipment

• Basic computer skills for task management

• Ability to communicate courteously with public and staff

• Must work evenings and weekends as scheduled
