Elevate custodial standards with the Aboriginal Housing Society of Prince George as a Lead Custodian. Oversee cleaning operations, train staff, and ensure properties remain safe and welcoming.
In this leadership role, you will manage day-to-day custodial activities, directly guiding a team of custodians to uphold the highest cleanliness standards across various properties. Your experience of 3-5 years in custodial work and 1-2 years in supervisory roles will be key, as you conduct inspections, mentor staff, and coordinate schedules to ensure efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily custodial activities and staff coordination
• Assign work schedules and monitor cleaning standards
• Train and mentor custodial staff for excellence
• Conduct inspections of buildings and common areas
• Report staffing and operational needs to management
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• 3-5 years custodial experience, 1-2 years in leadership
• Criminal Record Clearance must be maintained
• Valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract needed
• WHMIS Certification is mandatory
