Building Maintenance Technician

Position: Morguard Building Maintenance Technician
Join Morguard as a Building Maintenance Technician, enhancing property conditions across shopping centres. You will conduct inspections, repairs, and upkeep to support tenant satisfaction and property presentation.

This role requires attention to detail and at least two years of experience in building operations or general maintenance. Responsibilities include routine building inspections, minor repairs, and maintaining the grounds to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for tenants and the public. You will work closely with the Supervisor, Operations to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance

• Perform minor repairs related to plumbing and light fixtures

• Maintain external grounds, including landscaping and snow removal

• Respond to tenant maintenance requests promptly

• Keep maintenance logs to ensure operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance experience

• Effective problem-solving and organizational skills

• Mechanically inclined with a neat appearance

• Valid driver's license preferred

• Previous shopping centre experience is advantageous
