Position: Evening Custodians for School District
Become a key part of the School District as a Casual Custodian working evening hours or weekends.

Your role ensures cleanliness and security in a school environment.

This on-call position reports to the School Principal or Department Head. You'll perform essential cleaning tasks including sanitizing washrooms, mopping floors, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the buildings. Suitable candidates will have a Building Maintenance Certificate or comparable experience, along with physical strength to handle cleaning equipment and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mop, sweep, and wax floors regularly

• Clean desks, washrooms, and kitchen areas

• Lock doors and secure windows at shift's end

• Ensure the cleanliness of all areas of the district buildings

• Assess emergencies and notify appropriate authorities

Requirements:

• Building Maintenance Certificate or six months experience

• Physical ability for heavy cleaning tasks

• Basic computer skills needed

• Ability to organize workload effectively

• Capability to follow safety instructions
