This position requires performing daily cleaning assignments and supporting general maintenance tasks within various spaces of the YMCA. You will maintain essential hygiene standards in fitness areas, bathrooms, and change rooms, while also engaging warmly with users of the facility. Your work contributes directly to the YMCA’s mission of fostering healthy, inclusive communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean bathrooms and change rooms regularly
• Perform grounds maintenance duties as needed
• Support the maintenance team as required
• Interact with members in a friendly manner
• Ensure proper stocking of cleaning supplies and dispensers
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in cleaning and maintenance roles
• Valid Standard First Aid with CPR-C
• Hold a WHMIS certification
• Physically able to meet job demands
• Recent Criminal Reference Check required
