Evening Custodian District Schools

Position: Evening Custodian for District Schools
Ensure our schools are clean and secure as an Evening Custodian, with flexible shifts on weeknights and weekends. Collaborate closely with faculty and students to maintain a welcoming space.
As an Evening Custodian, you will play a key role in the cleanliness and security of our District Buildings. Your responsibilities will include routine cleaning tasks, building inspections, and direct collaboration with school personnel. Candidates need a Building Maintenance Certificate or six months’ relevant custodial experience, and a readiness to operate cleaning machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mop and wax floors, keeping them safe and clean

• Sanitizing washrooms and replenishing supplies

• Lock designated areas and conduct security checks

• Manage waste and ensure cleanliness in classrooms

• Provide support to custodial activities during holidays
Requirements:

• Building Maintenance Certificate or six months of experience in cleaning

• Ability to operate heavy custodial tools

• Basic computer proficiency required

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
