Your role ensures a clean and secure educational environment.
As a Casual Custodian, you will follow defined cleaning protocols and perform essential security tasks. This involves routine cleaning of classrooms, hallways, and other areas, under the guidance of the School Principal or Department Head. Interaction with students, staff, and the public will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Wash windows and maintain cleanliness of surfaces
• Change and fix light bulbs as required
• Sanitize classrooms and public areas
• Lock and secure buildings post-shift
• Perform major cleaning tasks during holidays
Requirements:
• Building Maintenance Certificate or relevant experience
• Ability to operate heavy custodial equipment
• Good computer skills
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work alone or in teams
