Position: CCUSVSept2026 - Casual Custodian (VHF)
Location: Vanderhoof

Position Summary

School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking applications for Casual Custodians to support schools and facilities in the Vanderhoof area, including Mapes. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For
  • Providing custodial and maintenance services in accordance with district procedures
  • Ensuring safety, health, sanitation, and security standards are met
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of school buildings and facilities
Qualifications
  • Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
  • Building Service Worker Certificate or equivalent (minimum 40 hours of instruction)
  • Minimum of 6 months of related custodial experience
  • WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures
Additional Requirements

The successful applicant must complete a Criminal Record Check through the Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP). Criminal Record Checks through local RCMP detachments will not be accepted. To expedite this process, we recommend setting up a BC Services Card Account in advance (BC Services Card).
