Title: Director, Regional Engagement - Northern Region.

Salary: $128,851 - $151,589 - $174,328 per year (pay range explained below).

Contract: Permanent.

Hours: 8:30am- 4:30pm, Mon
- Fri (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri).

Location: Any of the FNHA Northern Regional Offices. A flexible work arrangement may be a possibility. Travel will be required across the entire Northern Region

About The Role Reporting to the Regional Executive Director, the Director, Regional Engagement leads the development and execution of regional engagement strategies that strengthen relationships with First Nations communities, health partners, and key stakeholders. The role provides leadership for community engagement, regional planning, partnership development, and organizational initiatives, ensuring that community voices and regional priorities are reflected in decision-making and service delivery.

The Director works collaboratively across FNHA and with governance partners to advance health and wellness priorities, support engagement networks, and foster meaningful collaboration that contributes to improved health outcomes for First Nations communities.

About You To be successful in this role you will have/be;

Education & Experience (REQUIRED)

  • University degree in a related field; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
  • Master's degree is an asset.
  • Significant experience in community, stakeholder, or regional engagement, ideally gained over eight or more years.
  • Significant experience working within First Nations health, governance, community development, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with First Nations communities, leadership, and partners.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, project management, and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience leading teams and managing organizational priorities, budgets, and resources.
  • Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License (or equivalent).
