Manufacturing Engineer Cnc Focus

Join a manufacturing team in Abbotsford as a Manufacturing Engineer, specializing in CNC machining processes and tooling optimization. This role offers a hands‑on approach to driving operational improvements and efficiency.

As part of your responsibilities, you will report to the Director of Product Development and work alongside machinists. Your focus will be on continuous improvements, including cycle time reduction and effective fixturing. Robust expertise in CNC programming and hands‑on troubleshooting is critical for success in this position.

• Drive cycle time reduction efforts through program updates
• Identify tooling optimization opportunities with data-driven decisions
• Design current and existing fixturing to enhance production
• Partner with engineering teams for manufacturability feedback
• Create work instructions and inspection checklists for machinists

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
• Experienced in Solid Works for modeling and fixture design
• Proven CNC programming experience in multi-axis environments
• Hands‑on experience with Mazak and/or Okuma machines
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
