We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Dunrovin Park Lodge. The LPN works within the context of a client and family centered care model and in accordance with the standards, scope and code of ethics as outlined by BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and the vision and values of the Northern Health.

Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor or designate, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Practical Nurse applies Nursing Process, performs assessments, plans, provides nursing care, and may provide direction to other staff.

The LPN operates in accordance with the expected competencies within the Entry to Practice Competencies, Scope of Practice and Standards of Practice as outlined by BCCNM, as well as within a client and family centered care model and according to organizational policies, procedures, standards and unit specific protocols.

New Wage
:
As of April 1, 2024 the new wage is: $32.84 - $41.35/hour

Dunrovin Park Lodge is a complex care facility with 117 beds. The facility consists of complex care, hospice, respite, and special care unit. Maple House is a secured unit with 20 beds and one respite bed specifically for residents requiring more supervision. Hospice Care Unit has three Hospice Palliative care beds and three respite beds. There is a Volunteer Program in place to accompany residents on social outings, appointments, and provide hospice support.

Hairdressing and barber services are available on site for a fee determined by the service provider. Dunrovin also provides an on-site integrated community adult day program, operating 4 days a week.
