Registered Nurse; Rn Emergency

Overview

Do you have a passion for nursing? We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join the University Hospital of Northern BC. Within a person‑centered care model, the Staff Nurse is responsible and accountable for providing professional nursing services consistent with Northern Health standards, the College of BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), the National Emergency Nursing Affiliation (NENA) Standards and the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) Code of Ethics for Nursing.

• Apply emergency nursing knowledge to care for clients presenting to the Emergency Department, from non‑urgent to life‑threatening situations.
• Collaborate with the health care team, reporting to the Emergency Manager and contributing to the overall emergency care mission.

Shift Rotation: Days, Evenings, Nights – 07:00 to 19:15, 11:00 to 23:00, 19:00 to 07:15 (rotating).
