Position Summary
We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Stores Attendant III to fill a Casual position at the St. John Hospital. In accordance with the established mission, vision, values and strategic priorities of Northern Health and under the general supervision of the Manager or designate, the Stores Attendant utilizes computerized systems for shipping and receiving goods, filling orders, transporting supplies and materials in a single or multi-site operation, performing and verifying inventory levels and maintaining all related documentation and records.
Promote public safety when goods are being handled, offered for transport or transported, applying appropriate safety protocols.
- Grade 12 plus one (1) year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
