As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Northern Health, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to an assigned group of patients. Your expertise will ensure adherence to established policies and procedures while advocating for patient needs throughout their treatment. This position allows you to work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, allowing for professional growth and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to assigned patients

• Participate in assessments and developing care plans

• Document patient information and care interventions

• Assist in the orientation of new staff and students

• Attend care conferences and report incidents as needed

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited Practical Nursing program

• Registered with BCCNM as a practicing LPN

• Current basic cardiac life support certification

• Ability to perform CPR and operate medical equipment

• Skill in prioritizing and organizing nursing duties
