Licensed Practical Nurse Position at Northern Health

As a part of our nursing team, you will deliver compassionate care to a diverse group of patients under the supervision of the Program Lead.

Your role includes developing care plans, conducting patient assessments, and ensuring effective care interventions. You will recognize when to involve RNs/RPNs in patient care, ensuring optimal treatment for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide and document quality nursing care according to protocols

• Assist in creating and evaluating individualized care plans

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs

• Advocate for patient and resident well-being

• Facilitate orientation for new nursing staff

Requirements:

• Current LPN certification in British Columbia

• Knowledge of patient care protocols and standards

• Capability to function as an independent practitioner

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities

• Experience with patient documentation and assessments
