Position: Registered Nurse in AIDS Prevention Role
Make a meaningful impact as a Registered Nurse with the AIDS Prevention Program at Northern Health. This role emphasizes compassionate care and health education in a dynamic outreach setting.

As part of the Northern Health team, you will provide vital health promotion services and screenings to individuals at risk in a clinic environment. Your efforts will not only help control STDs and HIV infections but also foster health education among targeted communities. The position requires working Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 16:30.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective health education to targeted groups

• Provide diagnostic and screening services in clinics

• Assess and treat various health conditions

• Conduct community outreach to improve health knowledge

• Carry out related nursing responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

• Current RN license with a focus on patient care

• Experience with health education or outreach initiatives

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work in street clinic environments

• Alignment with Northern Health’s mission and values
