The FNHA is expanding its team and seeks a Community Health Nurse to support diverse nursing services in remote areas. Holding full immunization competency, you will engage in TB testing, STI management, and provide educational support throughout prenatal and postnatal care.
Your role will directly impact health outcomes within First Nations communities, promoting well-being and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize nursing knowledge for program development and evaluation
• Analyze health data to inform services and interventions
• Develop health policies supported by evidence and research
• Work on health promotion and disease prevention initiatives
• Deliver both primary care and urgent health services
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Active registration with BCCNM
• At least one year of relevant nursing experience
• Valid BC Driver’s License required
• Basic Life Support Certification Level C
