Position: Registered Nurse for Emergency Services
Become a vital part of our health care team as a Registered Nurse at the University Hospital of Northern BC. Deliver compassionate care in our busy Emergency Department through various shifts.

In this Staff Nurse role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care consistent with the values and standards of Northern Health. Use your emergency nursing skills to effectively manage patients experiencing urgent and life-threatening conditions while ensuring their comfort and safety. Shift rotations include days, evenings, and nights, designed for optimal patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations

• Assess and respond to complex health situations effectively

• Work collaboratively with other health professionals

• Uphold BCCNM and NENA standards in all nursing practices

• Participate in ongoing education and training initiatives

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse in good standing with BCCNM

• Experience in emergency settings is preferred

• Strong dedication to patient advocacy and safety

• Effective communication and collaborative skills

• Willingness to adapt to a rotating schedule

Contribute to essential patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at the University Hospital of Northern BC.
