Position: Nurse in Charge Role at FNHA
Assume leadership as Nurse in Charge with First Nations Health Authority in Kwadacha, Prince George. This part-time role emphasizes community health and nursing excellence.

As the Nurse in Charge, you will influence health outcomes by leading comprehensive nursing services in a First Nations community. Your focus will include health promotion, disease prevention, and the delivery of essential urgent care. Collaborate with local health authorities to empower community health workers and leaders with vital training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing services focused on community needs

• Promote health initiatives and disease prevention programs

• Provide urgent and emergency support services

• Guide and mentor community healthcare teams

• Facilitate health education among local leaders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equatable experience

• Two years of relevant nursing experience

• Current registration with BCCNM

• Class 5 BC Driver’s License required

• Must hold Remote Nurse in Charge certification
